Hunter Safety 2025

The Brillion Conservation Club is holding a hunter safety class this spring. Dates are listed below, please note that students will be required to make all 5 dates to pass the class. Please let us know up front if there are schedule conflicts. All students must pre-register for the class through the DNR's website, no walk-ins allowed. The fee for the class is $10, please bring payment on the first class date. Students are not required to bring anything else to class, as all materials will be supplied by the Brillion Conservation Club.

To sign up for the class please visit the DNR’s website here: https://gowild.wi.gov/customers/safetyedclass and browse for Hunter Safety courses in Calumet county. You will then be able to register for the course, all students will be required to obtain their DNR customer number if they don’t already have one.

Thursday April, 3rd 6:00-9:00pm

Tuesday April, 8th 6:00-9:00pm

Thursday April, 10th 6:00-9:00pm

Tuesday April, 15th 6:00-9:00pm

Saturday April, 19th 8:00-11:00am (Test Day)

  • The Wisconsin DNR does not have a minimum age, however we recommend that students be at least 10 years of age.

  • No, you are not required to fire a gun to pass the class.

  • We ask that you attend every class date. We cover a lot of information in a short period of time so it’s important to attend every class.
